Update

What a gorgeous day it is today. Well I met with my chemo team today and I also saw Dr. S. due to some redness and drainage that has developed on my incision near my umbilicus.
I'm going to do a course of antibiotics, starting today and see Dr. S. again Friday to see how it looks.

If all looks well, including my blood work,
I will resume chemo Monday, 6/25.

By the way my CA-125 results came back at 38!
Of course this is still considered abnormal
but when I think of where it was when I began this journey, I am amazed.
So are my doctors.

Who knows,
If I didn't have this infection going on it might have been even lower!

6/22/12 Update to my Update-My infection is resolving and I will resume chemo on Monday.
