I picked up a new medication that I have to take to chemo with me on the week that I get the carbo/taxol combo.
The info page that Walgreens staples to the bag says
* your insurance saved you $417.34 *
This is for exactly 3 pills.
Yes Yes, I know all the blah blah arguments about research costs that go into these medications and so forth and so on.
By the way-this pill is for nausea. Period.
For that price this pill should put me in remission.
Seriously. What happens to the poor people who don't have insurance?
Just pisses me off.
Going for a walk now. Calming down and thinking good thoughts.
