From OCNA Moved by his stepmother’s experience with ovarian cancer, photographer
Howard Parr launched a project to document ovarian cancer survivors
engaged in the activities they love. Click the link to view his photographs http://www.howardparr.com/teal/
Howard’s unique black, white and teal photos are available for sale and are on display this September at several Jaeger LeCoultre boutiques across the United States.
I find these black and white photos stunning and inspirational. Each woman has been touched by ovarian cancer, and the Artists depicts this with just the tiniest touches of teal color in the stark black and white photos.
I think my favorite is of Linda Gayton in her garden, but the one of Linda DeAngelo on her yoga mat is just as wonderful. These are women living their lives. You can see the determination and joy in each of their faces. Truly, I love them all.
Have a great day,
Love,
Dixie
